While I strive to imbue a friendly, conversational tone in all my writing, the message must suit the medium. That means I often find myself reining in the stronger aspects of my "voice" to suit more buttoned-down content like white papers, solution briefs, webpages, and the like. 
But when it comes to blogs, however, I can truly let my hair down. Take these two, for example. They're both focused on network security, but they're not what you'd expect from a stereotypical "B2B" standpoint. These aren't written for faceless corporations — they're written for the people who staff their security teams.
